Will’s Zine Swap!

July 11, 2012 § Leave a Comment

So Will is this amazing teen person who is one of our regulars here at the library. We’re not allowed to have favorite patrons really but …

He has been so fun to talk about zines with! He started this great zine swap project that I wanted to spread the word about. I asked him to write about the project, and he sent these words:

My zine swap is pretty simple it goes like this: send me a zine i send you some back from different writers or myself.

People can participate by sending me their zines or money (for the postage stamps i have to buy) also it helps to spread the word of this project (thanks jude)

A while back i came across a sticker trade for people who liked to plaster STOP signs. So i sent some stickers of mine in, and got some really cool ones. Then a few months later i fell upon zines (thanks jude)  i was very fascinated by them and i wanted to read more but most of all i wanted a collection of my own that i could read and so i stand trying to get this trade rolling. I also want people to have that very same feeling i got when i got those stickers. i want people to be able to start their own collections too.

i need your zines and i am sure you want some too. i want to get this trade rolling and so far i have received 5 issues of zines but i need your zines and your support. I need people to spread the word of this project
Details on how to participate in the swap are here:
No, thank YOU, Will!
